Terms of service

Last updated October 9, 2026

By creating a CanBoard account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.

The service

CanBoard is a tool for recording where your roll-off cans are, who has them, and their condition. It does not dispatch or route trucks, bill your customers, or take payments. Due dates and overdue flags are a convenience: your rental agreements with customers, and the rules on where a can may be placed, are yours to follow. We aren't responsible for missed pickups, overage charges, property damage, or injuries.

Your data

Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep CanBoard running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using CanBoard at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
